Caribbean-inspired fragrance brand Nateeva has created yet another sun-drenched fragrance transporting to the paradise islands, and this time it’s named after the eastern Caribbean region of Saint Vincent & the Grenadines (also know as SVG).
Perfume brand Nateeva was founded in 2016 by Hope Freeman & Jay McSherry, whose combined careers in creative professions and Hope’s long-standing experience as a fragrance evaluator for a prestigious fragrance house, along with their profound fondness of the islands led to birth of a fragrance house paying homage to the islands and their native flowers. Each fragrance evokes the spirit of the island and quite simply transports you on a journey to the Caribbean. Not all the fragrances are available in the UK & European market, however we’re delighted that the sublime scent of Saint Vincent & the Grenadines has landed on our shores!
What makes this fragrance so special? The destination itself, which also close to our hearts here at Floralia Perfume Boutique, with roots and family still living on the islands and also a frequent visitor. Where is SVG and why create a fragrance in its name? For those who don’t know, SVG is an archipelago of islands in the Eastern Caribbean at the southern end of the Windward Islands chain. The capital is Saint Vincent, with smaller islands such a Bequia, Mustique and Canuoan travelling south to Grenada. Now let’s talk fragrance. This perfume couldn’t be more resonant of the distant isles, with top notes of crisp mandarin and cool coconut water mingle to create the essence of this fragrance’s wondrous top note, and the magnificent flora of the island is captured in the heart with notes of Night Blooming Jasmine, plumeria, orange flower and violet leaf – a journey that is then accentuated with a cocktail of musk that lingers in a cloud of extravagance.
